Turns out that in the past 30 days, I’ve gotten almost 100 click-throughs from Kingdom Grace, who yesterday revealed the top search terms that people are using to find her blog (not sure of the timeframe). The top result? “brother maynard bullshit.” I just don’t quite know what to make of that!
Just for fun, I checked my own stats to see how people are finding this site… and the results over the last 30 days:
Keyword | Visits |
combinations and variations of william p. young, mackenzie allen phillips, the shack, study guide, the shack book review | 952 |
holmes on homes | 586 |
removal of joel osteen, joyce meyer, charles stanley, david jeremiah and other pastors from the airwaves | 34 |
nothing but the blood of jesus | 23 |
olympic hats | 19 |
todd bentley | 13 |
j. lee grady | 15 |
brother maynard | 15 |
subversive influence | 14 |
shepherding movement | 14 |
starbucks lingo | 12 |
i know whom i have believed | 12 |
It didn’t surprise me to see BS on the search terms for that day, since I had recently used the word, but I LOL’ed when I saw it linked with your name. As to the 100 click-throughs, 60 were probably me. I usually pop by a few of my favorite blogs a couple of times a day to see what’s new.
so, like, are you say that if you wanted to pump up your stats, stat, you could implant the secret code words that would bring up:
maynard’s non-shepherding Starbucks study guide to the book review by young allen on Shack and Home: A Subversive Olympic Airwave Hat
??
perhaps that would cover most of the bases.
but then, you might just sort of want to cover your head with a tinfoil hat to keep the aliens out …
Yes — but an Olympic™ tinfoil hat.
“Holmes on Homes” and “Starbucks lingo”? Random!
Sarah — actually I’ve posted on both of those before, using them as metaphor. I’m sure the searchers aren’t looking for the metaphor though! There’s a long ongoing conversation on the Holmes on homes post that’s just about contractors and such.
