June 17th is Firefox Download Day — the Mozilla team is shooting for a world record for the most software downloads in a 24-hour period. Get involved, and download Firefox 3 — a great browser, for free. Come on, all you IE-users, get free and rediscover the web!
If you’re using Firefox 2, I can recommend Firefox 3 as a worthwhile upgrade — I’ve been running the Beta for a while now. To download, make clicky-click on the fancy graphics…
Can anyone give any suggestions as to why Poland has so many pledges? That’s funny …
I’m looking for some techie advice. I tried Firefox several months ago and really liked it. Then it started locking up everytime I clicked on something. Very annoying. I uninstalled and installed again several times to no avail. I finally gave up and resigned myself to a lifetime of IE6 (don’t like IE7). I’m willing to give Firefox another go, however. Do you have any thoughts about what happened the first time? Maybe it was just some glitch that has been worked out.

I use FF on Linux, so I’m not sure if the result are quite the same, but I’ve noticed that FF3 has much better memory management than FF2 did, so it’s been more stable for me since I started running the Beta for version 3.
There’s also Opera if you want to upgrade from IE6 (and you should!) but don’t want to go to IE7 or FF3 for some reason. Other than on my Treo, I haven’t used Opera for about 8 years now, but I know others who really like it.
Thanks for the help. I’d love to be free from IE6!
