		<description>Wow, this puts into words something that I have felt. The emergent movement is just this kind of thing. It is arising, seemingly spontaneously, in so many ways. Ten years ago, dissatisfied, I wrote out the sketch of a community I wished my church could be. I&#039;m surprised to see that many other had the same dream.

It&#039;s also amusing to watch anyone try to control or stop such a movement. What a waste of time. I was in a meeting recently when a person who is employed in a traditional media (television) said, &quot;Why would anyone spend time reading blogs? Why would they do that?&quot; She had a litany of reasons why this shouldn&#039;t be happening.

I said, &quot;Why doesn&#039;t matter. They ARE doing it. And there is no stopping it. You can get on board or you can sit around trying to figure out why the train left the station.&quot;</description>
