I spent Friday night in the Roxburgh home… I landed on his doorstep as the stranger, and he set some very fine food and beverage before me and his other guests, practicing radical hospitality. Peace be upon his home.

On the way back, we decided the coffee was an attempt to bless the cafe across the street by driving business over there. They had seriously great pie to go with it, too.

Regarding dark beer, if I recall right, the fine lady attempting to serve us also thought Mirror Pond was a dark beer when in reality it is a very fine IPA. And what was that stuff they were calling coffee at the lodge? Can we please go some place civilized next time? :-)

It’s okay, Lori, we’re still blaming Imbi. Good to have you pop by, Lori — hope you had a good trip back. Would like to come visit, but 1500 miles… we’ll see ;^)

I’m just chillin’ here at Casa Roxburgh with Alan, Bill & Imbi, Pete Askew, and John Gilmore. Contemplating food this evening and flying home tomorrow… while Alan practices “radical hospitality.”
