Tonight, Alan Roxburgh of Allelon is in Winnipeg — we’ll be having an evening of conversation on Missional Leadership at The Ellice Theatre, which adjoins The Ellice Cafe… 585 Ellice at Sherbrook. No need to pre-register, just show up — there’s no cost, by which we mean that an offering will be taken and we’re hoping it’ll cover the costs. And by “we” I mean Jamie Arpin-Ricci and me. The event has no formal sponsorship other than Jamie and me sticking our necks out with the understanding support of Allelon and the moral and promotional support of Resonate. More details are at — please join us if you’re able.

If you’re not able to be with us at this gathering, I’m hoping we’ll be able to get some audio from the event online, but can’t confirm quite yet.

Either way, I recommend a conversation which Alan recorded with Andrew Jones recently, “Virtual Conversations and Monastic Islands” (MP3). In the conversation, Alan mentions the formation of a missional order, about which further details can be found in two recent Allelon articles, Forming a Missional Order: October 15-18, 2007 and A Missional Order – Learning from Northumbria.
