We haven’t finished watching the season finale of Lost yet (I just noticed the official merchandise includes some scary-realistic-looking “action figures.”), but I just noticed there’s a new episode of Studio 60 on tonight… and I was pretty sure it was going to be canceled, so I’m glad to see it return from the hiatus most people thought would be permanent. Studio 60 has better writing than Lost. There, I said it. Enough that it probably won’t last in the mainstream.
And speaking of Tim Daly (starred with Studo 60’s Steven Weber in Wings), was I the only one that said ten minutes into the recent 2-hour episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “This isn’t a season finale, it’s the pilot for a spinoff.” I hadn’t heard any of the buzz before that, but I called it.
Okay, too much TV. Back to the Internet…
I said EXACTLY the same thing about that episode of Grey’s Anatomy while I was watching it. I wonder what they’ll call it? Seems a shame to waste momentum and not bring it on midseason – but perhaps you know more than I do…
I said EXACTLY the same thing about that episode of Grey’s Anatomy while I was watching it. Too bad they’re waiting ’til fall. Seems a shame to waste the momentum now that they’ve got our attention.
i think once we saw the allstar cast of that episode, we all knew that it was a spin-0ff.
but im more pumped about studio 60. i was lementing 2 days ago about the loss of that show. it’s some of the best writing i’ve seen. i’m glad it’s back.
