Elsewhere Scot McKnight has a new book coming out, A Community called Atonement. Prolific — I think he must write a new book like every five or six weeks… and this one looks promising.
Emerging Grace begins a series on leadership by suggesting a moratorium on the word “leadership”. She writes,
At first, I thought the problem was the lack of servanthood in leadership, and so I latched onto the idea of servant leadership. However, after a time I became skeptical because the focus still seemed to be on the leadership part. What would happen if you dropped the title leader and just kept the servant part?
