Actually, some have already gotten started in the past few days, and this morning I noticed a significant one, the Height-Endowed Skinny Kiwi has proclaimed an Emerging Church Blogger of the Year: none other than Scot McKnight. You can read Andrew’s reasoning, and as a treat to Dr. Scot, I think we should all take note: just one “t”!

Normally I’m not a fan of simply proclaiming the guy at the top of the heap as the -of-the-year winner (I didn’t think Michael Schumacher deserved that assumption), but as Andrew outlines his reasoning, Scot really settled himself in that spot this past year, and frankly, I can’t think of anyone who deserves an EC-blogging accolade like this one more than he — he’s got my vote! ….For what that’s worth, I think he’s in by acclamation ;^)
