Justin over at Radical Congruency is talking about microfinance again… turns out Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh has won a Nobel Prize for his pioneering work in promoting microloans. Microcredit, microloans, and microfinance are definitely worth reading up on and looking into.
I just interrupted this post and dashed of an email to one of the executive of a local entrepreneur’s group and told them to round up all their members and challenge their local business community to toss a few bucks in the hat for microloans. I told him it would be good for karma.
Returning to your regularly scheduled blog post, given one of the sacred cows we recently challenged, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Jason’s parting shot: “Keep that $50 out of the collection plate this Sunday, and change a life.”
