emerging church research

Bryan Murley is kicking into gear with his emerging church research project, where he intends to analyze a year’s worth of posts from each of 50 emerging church bloggers. He’s starting with the top 50 blog listings on Technorati and will adjust the list after looking at each of the blogs. I think there are about 40 posts out there noting they made the list, but I’m struck with a different thought… since I’m in there somewhere I’m feeling a bit sorry for Bryan having to wade through a year’s worth of my drivol. I wonder what I said?

Anyway, I’m looking forward to hearing what he comes up with.

yeah, I was sorta wondering the same thing. 90% of my posts are just stream of thought nonsense! ;-)
Heck, most of what I write, I don’t even agree with 6 months later.

I think I must like myself or something. I just waded through 2 years of my posts in the last day or so. There’s actually some pretty good stuff in there. I saw that I was on the list – from checking my site stat referal links. I don’t know who Bryan is. Interesting task he’s taken on though. God help him swim through a year’s worth of 50 blogs! Geez O Pete! Just looking through my own wore me out.

Alan, I found his list the same way — love those referrer stats! It’ll be a tough slog for him I expect, but on the other side I think the results will be quite interesting when he has the data collated. I’m not sure I’d even want to speculate too much on what trends he’ll find. I’m somewhere between you guys on my archives though… I know there’s some good stuff in there, mixed among the drivol. Problem is I sometimes need someone else to tell me which is which ;^)
