Antony asks the question, “Do Canadians Have a Sense of Humor?” which for most of us is rhetorical. He concludes “yes,” of course, and gives good reasons for doing so. I would like to posit that sometimes we’re a little funny — or at least quirky — even when we’re trying to be serious… at least it happens that way in Winnipeg. I offer a single photograph taken in downtown Winnipeg as my proof.
Uhhm, yeah. Except buses. Okay. Strangest part? In context it makes sense, and it works. See what I mean? Quirky. And if you’re ever in Winnipeg, remember to watch out for oncoming buses ’till you get to know the ropes. ;^)
Dude, you gotta include a picture of the roadsign just south of Confusion Corner, heading north on Osborne. If THAT’s not a mind-bender of the roadsign, I’ll eat my commentary set.
