    St. Maximux the Confessor said that we seek to become by grace what God is by nature. Changes the dynamics, doesn’t it?

    Hold on, hold on, wait a minute… what God is by nature, we become by church attendance and prayers and daily scripture reading and serving on church committees and tithing? Huh? What? I think you lost me somewhere….
