Fred Peatross does it again, with Conversation to Movement: Fifteen Thoughts for the Modern Church. Could be he just hooked me in with his first thought, which is a direct quote of thesis no. 7 from The Cluetrain Manifesto, but he’s got a number of good points to make, each of which follows and builds upon the one before.

In just a few more years, the conventional-homogenized church “voice” will seem as archaic (even contrived) as old King James’ 16th century version of the Bible.

Of course, I’ve opined upon the emerging church movement in the past as well, in Saul’s Armour: 2005, The Year of the Emergent Movement and in The Trajectory of a Movement; this fits right in with some of those ideas, but is formed as a message from the postmodern/emerging church to the modern church.
