Winter weather has arrived in Winnipeg in a most un-subtle fashion. You wouldn’t know it from the photo, but yesterday the streets were dry and bare. It did look beautiful peering out the window this morning, all a blanket of white… with the neighbours pushing their car out of a snowbank. But the snow on the trees and such was picturesque and my girls were excited. I really should have snapped that photo on my James Bond camera-phone, but nnoooo….. I wasn’t on the ball that early and only snapped the photo halfway to the office when it looked all ugly. One of the guys from the shop walked out to catch his bus and found three buses, all from the same route, all stuck on the street outside his apartment. He called me to pick him up on my way in to the office. And more snow on the way….
You lucky dogs. It has not arrived here yet.
I pushed so many people today!
I had a great day meeting people and just pushing.
4×4 ‘s are GREAT!
Enjoy today, make a fire, bake some cookies and curl up with the family!
Be Blessed Brother M!
Paul said you emailed him…I’m sure he’ll be getting back to you in due time.
Did you guys buy the house on the mystery EK street? ’cause it sold!
Nice picture by the way, and Happy Winter :brrr:
Tamara,
Looks like you guys have done a whole site redesign — I’ll have to spend some time poking around at all the new stuff. Looking forward to getting ahold of Paul’s book, too.
Paul asked about the house via email as well; unfortunately we didn’t buy it, we were about to go back and look when we found out there was an offer pending which went through. Since then, there’s been nothing come up in the area that would be suitable, so we’ve taken our house off the market until spring, hopefully we’ll have better luck then.
My sympathies! Chicago just got it’s first dusting this morning. Very light, didn’t stick.
Sympathies? Bah! They should be celebrating! :)
Sorry, it’s just the nordic blood talking.
Yeah, we’ve been meaning to change the site for a while now…it was on the list of “things to do”. I need to go and peruse through it for myself!
Maybe next year about the house thing
