Many friends who know me will also know a dear friend, who blogs under the moniker Robbymac. I just read Rob’s latest post moments ago, and it is grieving me. Deja vu… I thought one forced resignation would be enough for anyone’s professional pastoral career. I would ask mutual friends of Rob & Wendy and fellow bloggers who follow Robbymac’s blog to read his post (though it doesn’t give any detail), leave a supporting comment and pray for them.

It’s a side-issue to point out here that church structure is sadly broken. Give the pastoral staff too much power and they trample the sheep. Give the people too much power and they crucify the shepherd. People suck, how does God keep loving them? I’m glad his role and mine are not reversed, that’s for sure.
